*2000-05-09 - 20:33:24* I can't really think of anything to write about today. Nothing happened, no deep thoughts were thunk, nothing out of the ordinary happened. So instead of an actual entry, for your reading pleasure, I'm going to post some poetry/songs I wrote. Don't worry, I'm keeping my day job, but if by the strange occurence that you happen to like it, and want to use it for something, please ask my permission as I did write it. Thanks. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Hell's Grannies By Me Well I was born in the summer of '23 Mama tried to inspire Puritan work ethics in me By the time I was 50, sick of being a good lil' girl I bought me a leather jacket with all the chains I could twirl CHORUS: I'm a Hell's Granny! Yes I am. I ain't namby-pamby... I say "Hot damn!" If you mess with Hell's Granny You better watch out little man. After I bought my first Harley It came as quite a surprise. My boy looked at me with wide open eyes. He's probably wondering "Whatever went wrong?" Well, guess what sonny, Mommy's having LOTS more fun! CHORUS Whenever I go to visit, in my tatoos and floral gown... The kids squeal with delight when Grandma come to town! When doctor told me to slow down, I kicked his tiny wazoo I ain't dying yet, and got lotsa living left to do! CHORUS *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Chances Lost By Me Many times I thought of you And not known what to say Afraid I'd appear childish, immature, unworthy So I put on a mask, and didn't let Me show through Talked as if I could care less Talked as if I was one of the guys Though all I could see was you. And then you walked away and my chance was over I've said it before and I'll say it for always "Next time, I'll say what's true." Ok, torture's over. Go home now. :-) Read someone else's diary. ________________________________________________________
