Well, the concert was very very good. I really enjoyed myself. My parents on the other hand...

Well, to start, we got to the place late. When we did finally arrive, we saw that there was no seating, it was Standing Room Only. I didn't mind, but my parents had grown out of that 15 years ago. My 8 year old sister also minded. My friend Lauren and I were litterally up against the wall, right behind the sound guy. My other friends, Leah and Lis, were about 5 inches from the stage. I saw Jen, Lori, Lindsay, and Beth. I also saw Gordon, but I don't think he saw me :-(

The opening act was good and short. Früvous starting on their set, and apparently forgot it was an all ages show. Some topics of conversation included Gore moving like a robot and pianos dropping from the ceiling. The also threw in some lude jokes "Clinton, man. The way he talks...I'd go down on him...", "Murray and I, we're strong. We'll go back up to the room, put on Revolver, slap around a bit...", you get the idea. I've also never heard them use the word "f*ck" so liberally. Ah well, a great show nevertheless. Here's what they played*:

Anyway, a good thing that came from this is that my parents are going to start letting me go to these concerts by myself :-)

Opinion of the moment: All these TRL songs aren't that great. Who requests this stuff? They are almost all wannabees of some band or another. Why request the wannabees when you can request the real thing? Dumb, dumb, dumb.
