Well, today was interesting... I wrote in all in an e-mail to Joe, so I'll just paste it for your veiwing pleaseure.

I proved Murphy's Law today. It's a bit of a story, but this is an e-mail so I'll tell it. I was hired to cat-sit for this family I baby-sit for from last Thursday to this Thursday. Everything had gone fine up until today. The Ides of April. I walk into the house, feed the cat, and check the litter box. Nothing. It's completely clean. This strikes me as very odd, so I start looking around the house. Kitty had decided that Kitty doesn't like her litter box. She likes the rugs much better. So, I wound up cleaning up "waste" in the living room, in the child's bedroom, and in the bathroom. Fortunately the bathroom wasn't bad. It was all on the bath mat, so I took it home and washed it. Little did I know that the bath mat was the kind that shedded and feel apart when you washed it. It was, however, in reasonably condition, so I brought it back, and I hope that it doesn't fall apart for real before they return. To teach the cat a lesson, my brother and I decide that a bath would be a suitably punishment for the cat. We gave it a bath. It didn't like us. But it was fine by the time we left. So, I clean up all that kitty waste from 9-11 this morning. I walk in tonight to feed the cat dinner. I needed to go to bathroom. So, I do my thing, and in true Murphy's Law spirit, the toilet clogs and nearly overflows. So, I have to call me brother to bring a plunger, clean away the blockage, and get the toilet working again. I wonder what fantabulous surprises await me tomorrow...Joy...

I'm going to get that cat a good litter box, and a cat toy, so it isn't completely bored. I do have compassion for that little pooper. It's a cute cat, just not house trained at all.

So, that was most of my day. I also got tape work done, and I *just* got an e-mail from my friend Michael (whom I haven't heard from in a dogs age!) So, all in all, 'twas a good day. Tomorrow, I take my Dad to get him car fixed, and get a physical, and do some more tape work, and start on break homework. What a life I lead, eh?
