Douglas Adams is dead.

He died of a heart attack in Santa Barbra, California at age 49.

That's not right.

Douglas Adams is not supposed to die of a heart attack. Douglas Adam should have been struck by lighting 8 times and survived. He should have been landed on by a hot air balloon and survived. He should have been abducted by the Betelgeusians and interrogated on why he spoiled their surprise. He should not have died of a heart attack...that's too normal.

I love his books. I've read all 6 books of the Hitch Hikers Guide Trilogy, the first Dirk Gently book, and played the HHGTTG game. He was one of the coolest authors in the world. If you haven't read anything by him, you should. The world has lost a great, great, man. I just hope he didn't die towel-less...

That's all there is too say...I must go and re-read every book I have by him now.
