*2001-06-22 - 11:00 p.m.* Ok, so...Graduation. There isn't really much to tell. All 454 of us marched out onto the feild, in a completely different way then we had practiced. The speeches were, for the most part, short ans sweet, as were the poetry readings. Then they called us up one at a time to receive our diploma covers. We wouldn't get the actual diploma till after we handed in our caps and gowns...which means that we *had* to go through the recessional. So, I handed in my cap and gown, got my diploma, and eventually met up with my family and Lis and Eric at the school. Then we had a luncheon at my house, and that's it. That'll all graduation was. Oh, did I mention that it was 90 degrees? And all of us were sitting on brown chairs in the middle of a football field with nylon robes on? I'm surprised I didn't faint. The past couple days I've been keeping busy. Cleaning my room, putting away old notes and stuff. I haven't had a car, since my Dad's is in the shop, and he's been using mine, but I got it back today. Just in time for me to head up to Ocean City with Lis and hang out on the Boardwalk and beach. I got a nice tan on the front of me, but I totally neglected my back sunblock-wise, which is why I'm sitting here, with a fan on my back, wishing I could just sit around topless. But, we have a guest in the house, so I must be content in a halter. Yes, I was an idiot, and now I get to heal. Fun fun fun. I really wish I could wear those backless tops and halters, and have them look good on me. They look really comfortable. C'est la vie. So, that's all that's been happening really. I've gotten back into the habit of watching TV. Mostly MTV, VH1, and Pax. I want to keep in touch with all the modern music. I fell out of touch for a while because all the boy bands and manufactured mini-divas were taking up the air-waves and making me sick. So, now that they're backing off, and new bands are coming into the mix, I'm back to listening. And I still have yet to watch "The Weakest Link", which I really want to see. There's not much else to write about, so I think I'm gonna go and try and download some songs. ________________________________________________________
