*01.18.2002 - 4:52 p.m.* Hello faithful readers! Well, it's Friday. I'm heading back to TCNJ on Sunday. First class is on Monday. I'm very excited. This is gonna be a good semester, I can feel it in my bones. I pretty much have only classes I want. And that is not only rare, but the best possible situation. When you enjoy what you do, then you do it the best you can...possibly better. So I just have really good feelings about this semester. Tonight, my Mom wants to go to services. I haven't been to services in a very long time. Back when I started this diary, I wrote an entry about Judaism and going to Saturday Morning services. I re-read it recently and my views have not changed. My Mom has been taking a Bat Mitzvah class, and one of the requirments is attending 2 services a month. She agrees with me that Saturday morning services are better, but Saturday mornings are rough to wake up early to. When I was going to them, they definitly gave me some piece of mind...I actually thought up a quasi-song while sitting and listening to the Torah. I didn't really go back after that. I don't really know why either. I'm not an overly Jewish person, but whatever helps give you inner peace, right? ... Doing a complete 180 from what I was talking about, I must say that I think I am quite possibly the only straight female I know who likes the show "Queer As Folk". Ah, wait, Lori likes that show too. Ok, so I only know one other straight female who likes it. I think it's a great show. It's new, off-beat, controversial, slighty gratuitous with the nudity, but that's ok. Hmm...Sebastian Bach is on VH1...I met the mother of his bassist while I was thrifting. Just a lil' piece of Steph-trivia for you. Alrighty...I should probably start getting changed for services. G'evening all! ________________________________________________________
