I registered for my new classes at 7am this morning. This is going to be the first semester in my life where I am not taking a a science class. I'll miss playing with the chemicals. I really do like lab work.

Speaking of which, my Descriptive Inorganic Chem teacher said something really true today. He said that the reason he got into complex chem was because it was asthetically pleasing. He's right. All the different colors of solutions are pretty. I use to think I was joking when I said that I liked lab because I get to make thigns turn colors, but it's true...there's no blue prettier then a copper solution, or nothing redder then a alkalai flame test. It really is pretty. Organic compounds are really complex and bland...inorganic compounds are colourful!

However, that isn't a good enough reason to go back to the Chem major. This coming semester I start my business courses and my writing courses. I'm excited. I am also excited about the prospect of getting an apt a short distance away. Dave founda really nice one that he, Julianne and I have to check out. Cross your fingers, folks :-)

As for this past weekend, I went into NYC with my family for my Mom's b-day. We saw Thouroughly Modern Millie, which was pretty good and funny. We went shopping in the Lower East side, and Dad finally got to see Spirited Away...and he enjoyed it too!

So, that's it! A busy past couple of days, and they're gonna get busier as the semester wanes. Only 1 month left! Eep!
