*10.23.2003 - 11:05 a.m.* Hello my fine readers! SO much has happened since I last updated, I feel like an entirely different person! So, about being vegetarian? Yeah, that's done. I like my chicken too much. I am eating healthy...I've decided that I like Veganaise a lot better then mayo, and I still have my veggie burgers waiting for me at home. In the fashion world, I bought this Hot Topic top with Lynne by my side. Then we decked her out in a black mini skirt with chains, layered fishnet tops, a spiked color and ring, some fishnets, and knee high black platform boots. She looks SO GOOD. Oh my g-d! We modeled our clothes for Dave, and he approved ;-) He told me I should be a fashion designer. That made me feel good. But wow, did Lynne look hot. She's gonna make Anthony (her boy) melt :-) What else goes on? Tim O'Brien rocked the casbah and all casbah related things. He gave a fantastic talk, and got a standing ovation at the end. Everyone listened, laughed, paid attention, it was WONDERFUL. You'd have to experience it yourself. Just WOW. Afterward, I got my book (The Things They Carried) signed, and asked him if other Vietnam vets had liked the book. He said most did, few didn't. The book is utterly fantastic...and I'm not even done reading it yet! In other other news, I went home on the 20th and 21st, and saw my fambly and Leah and Leah's Ray. I liked seeing my fambly. We went out to Japanese food, and I helped my Mom out with a project. And Lauren and Mom liked the books I got them. I wanted to wait until Chanukah, but I thought that would be cruel and unusual punishment. I like giving my family things. So, class yesterday was fun. We did our presentation in Legal Business Environments and we kicked butt. The discussion was good, our presentation was good, we were good. Not as good as the group after us, but still seriously good. Then in Contemporary Lit. we're studying poetry...territory that I have been in before. This half of the semester is going to be cake in that class...at least I hope so. I'm excited because we're going to be reading Anne Sexton (one of my favorite poets). So, that brings me up to today. I slept great last night, woke up early, did my homework for Accounting, and I finished class a little while ago. I'm currently in the Bliss Language Lab where the computers are nice, and everything's quiet. BTW family, Final Exam schedules are up...here's mine: Accounting: Friday, December 12 at 2 - 4:50 Microeconomics: Tuesday, December 16 at 2 - 4:50 And that's it! ________________________________________________________
