This is how it breaks down...

• I work about 15 hours a week. That's 30 hours every two weeks.
• 30 x $7.75 = $232.50
• $232.50 x .88 (12% income tax) = $204.60 paycheck every two weeks.
• $204.60 - $100 (savings) = $104.60

I have $104.60 that I can spend over a two week period. I can put $50 of that toward an iPod.

Now the iPod...

• 1 20gig iPod = $400
• 1 iPod USB cable = $20

Grand total = $420

So, if I can put 50 dollars away every two weeks, I will be able to afford this iPod in 18 weeks.

Come May, I will have my iPod!
