Man: Hi Steph, this is Fred from Borders. I was wondering if you could work a couple hours today.
Me: When?
Fred: After 3:30, if possible.
Me: I thought I was already working today.
Fred: Hold on, you might be...I don't have the schedule in front of me...

*silence*

Fred: Oh! You're closing tonight already! Sorry to bother you! *click*

*pause*

Me: ARRRGGHH!!!! *face under pillow*

It's at times like those when I have to remind myself why I still work at Borders.
