*03.16.2004 - 9:21 p.m.* Spring Break rocked. Sean and Lauren's party: I was scared that people wouldn't get along and things would be awkward, but everyone was really good, and everyone got along very well! Very very well! Leah and Dave talked a lot, Ben was very nice and charming, Lynne got drunk (I love Lynne), Allison and Dave were cosy, Rob took care of Lynne, Bob and Lis really hit it off, all in all everyone had a great time. Seeing Hal Sparks at the QB Mall: Oh my God! He is a tiny man! And so cute! And metal as hell! Oh my god! And Robert Gant rocked, and Harris Allen was sweet, and Hal Sparks gave Lauren a hug and signed the Superman panties we picked up at Hot Topic! YAY! I *heart* QAF! Driving Lauren and Sean home on Monday: What an adventure. It turns out that Staten Island is about a two hour drive from my house. Not too bad. We got to his house, and he and Lauren and I chilled out, read the Kama Sutra, and watched an episode of QAF. His parents asked if I was staying for dinner, and Sean said that I could if I wanted to, so I did. And they made a great dinner! Yay to Mr. and Mrs. Gordon! I was sure to thank them profusely, because it was very nice of them to have me. After that, I thought that since Dave's house was only an hour away, I would stop over at his place to say goodbye before I left for Florida. So, I got the directions from Mr. Gordon, and headed out. Five minutes into the drive, I needed to go to the bathroom. I figured I could hold it until I got to a rest stop along the way. Well...there were no rest stops. None. So I held it the entire hour long drive. As soon as I got to Dave's house, I burst in the door, said a quick hello to Mrs. Simpson, and ran for the bathroom. Made it. Florida: Florida was completely necessary to my well being. It was so nice to be in warm weather, walking around and eating REALLY GOOD food. This trip was Lauren's Right Of Passage trip. What that means is that, in our family, we have a tradition. Before our Bar/Bat Mitzvah, we go to Disney, and Mom and Dad takes us out to Victoria and Albert's for dinner. After dinner, we go to Pleasure Island and we get a gold initial ring, and we go to The Adventurer's Club. And that is our Right Of Passage. This last trip it was Lauren's turn. Dad was able to thoughourly embarrass her when Samantha Sterling picked him out of the library and grilled him about his and Mom's relationship. Very successfull, and fun was had by all. ... "The Jitterbug! The Jitterbug!" ... So, Florida was a lot of fun, and everyone needed it. We got back on Sunday, and I drove back to school later that day. Monday wasn't anything special. It was a pleasent 60 degree day, slightly breezy. But today, Tuesday, I woke up to a snowstorm and 28 degree weather. Stupid weather made my sinuses go nuts. I woke up and was so congested I couldn't breath. So, I took the Tylenol Sever Congestion...whoa. That stuff is strong. My brain was like fishes during my first two classes, but I was clear as a whistle. So yeah, good stuff. Food Thoughts: The Cinnabon popcorn stinks, but Spicy Hot V8 rocks my socks. ________________________________________________________
