*12.20.2004 - 10:02 a.m.*

Visted Sean and Lauren yesterday. We went to NYC, and Lauren took me to some great Tibetan shops, and a really nice spice and tea shop. I found my matte latte tea :-) I wound up getting a really warm, colorful hat, the tea, and a new purse (for 50% off!). Lauren got a pretty hat, a gift for Mandy's sister (tibetan prayer flags), and a REALLY nice jewlery box (marked down from $80 to $20!). Sean got the .hack Vol. 4 Limited Edition DVD set for $17 (rather then the $40 they wanted at Best Buy). We also ate at Coldstone Ice Cream (I *will* be going back there).
So, we're standing and waiting for the bus to Staten Island, when it starts snowing. And we immediately huddle under the awning of this mini mart, and continue eating, thinking "the bus will be here any minute".
We finish the ice cream and wait.
And wait.
And wait some more.
Half an hour later, the bus shows up. And it's packed. This bus was standing room only, folks. So, we get on. Plant our feet and hold on to the handles on the top of the seat. The bus makes a very more stops before we're out of the city. Honestly, by the last stop, they had to turn people away because the bus was too full.
About a half hour or forty five minutes into the bus ride, people start getting off, and we're able to sit down.
After we got back to Sean and Lauren's, I listened to some shakti yoga and bhava yoga music that Lauren wanted me to hear, and we watched some episodes of South Park. Then, I drove home.
It was an awesome day, and a day all three of us really needed.
Oh! And I met Frog too! She's cool. She reminds me a lot of one of those cool camp counselors who's always cheerful and bubbly and easy to friend.
Ok, today's to do list is:
-Clean up living room and kitchen
-Go food shopping with Lynne.
-Clean up room.
-Study for final tonight.
